Release notes#
This page lists Lockpin’s releases and where to find what changed in each. It is for anyone deciding whether to upgrade.

Only the latest release gets fixes, including security fixes.
v0.3.0#
The current release. It carries SHA256SUMS only, the checksums the installers check: it has no
Sigstore signature and no SBOM. The MSI, .deb, .rpm and macOS pkg files are attached to it,
unsigned. See Security for what is not done yet.

Check your version#
lockpin version
It prints the version, commit and build date.
Upgrade#
lockpin upgrade downloads the latest release (or the one you name), checks it against the
release’s SHA256SUMS and replaces the program. It keeps how Lockpin was installed. A running
Lockpin is restarted on the new version; a stopped one stays stopped.
